Alex Todd
Chairman of the Management Advisory Board

Alex Todd is Founder and Chief Executive of Trust Enablement Incorporated, the developer of a proprietary management innovation, called Trust Enablement©. It is used by organizations in technologies and business processes to improve conditions for stakeholder trust.

Alex’s methods derive from his thought-leadership work that contributed to IBM’s “Business On Demand” strategy. He has applied the same Trust Enablement© methods to reduce transaction costs and enhance business value in numerous business disciplines, as diverse as supply chain management and corporate governance.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Toronto and is an IBM Certified Consultant, distinguished by to one IBM Global Services Principal as “a trusted advisor to clients” with “a passion to change the world”.

Andrew MacDougall
Legal Advisor

Andrew MacDougall (Toronto) is a partner in the firm's OSLER LLP Business Law Department and a respected advisor to boards and in-house counsel on a wide variety of general corporate and commercial legal issues.

These matters include corporate reorganizations and restructurings, corporate governance matters, corporate disclosure obligations, the conduct of company meetings and executive compensation matters, including stock options.

Andrew is experienced in all types of merger and acquisition transactions including asset acquisitions and dispositions, public and private share purchase transactions, share subscriptions and investments, take-over bids, issuer bids, amalgamations and going-private transactions. He also advises individuals and companies on various forms of commercial alliances including shareholder, partnership and joint venture agreements. In the corporate finance area, he provides comprehensive advice on private and public fundraising and investment activities, both domestic and international.

In the course of his practice, he has advised companies in the retail, mining, warehousing and telecommunication industries, among others, and was seconded to the Singapore office of Northern Telecom Limited where he assisted the company in bidding for telecommunication licenses and contract work in Asia.

Brian Heidecker
Governance Advisor

Brian R. Heidecker (Edmonton) is President of Drylander Ranch Ltd, located in Coronation, Alberta. He is a director of the Agriculture and Food Council of Alberta and the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium.

He co-chaired the Ag Summit 2000 province-wide consultation and is actively involved in the implementation of its recommendations. He currently serves on the University of Alberta Board of Governors and director of ATB (Alberta Treasury Branches). Brian served on the Board of the Bank of Canada, the Alberta Securities Commission, and the Alberta Agricultural Financial Services Corp.

As external and general counsel to public and private companies, he provides legal and strategic advice on mergers, acquisitions, corporate, contract, governance™ and financing matters.

Dwight is Corporate Secretary of Matrikon Inc. (TSX: MTK) providing external legal counsel and advice to the board of directors and senior management. He also represents an oilfield equipment distributor in export, manufacturing and financial matters in China and Canada, and is general legal counsel to a major northern Alberta forestry company.

Dwight is a Director of uDigit Systems, a not for profit information technology company that is a consortium of colleges and universities, and sits on the board of the Edmonton YMCA. Gordon Olsen
Government Advisor

Mr. Gordon Olsen (Calgary) tremendously rewarding career with the Government of Alberta, including ten years in senior capacities with Premier Ralph Klein, Gordon Olsen established his own government relations and communications business in the spring of 2003.

While in government, Gordon participated in a wide range of initiatives within the area of federal and intergovernmental affairs. He served also as the Executive Director of the Southern Alberta Office of the Premier and as a senior policy adviser to Premier Ralph Klein. This range of experience provided valuable knowledge on how federal and provincial governments work. Jeffrey Uhlich provides advisory services to BoardSuite in the areas of recruitment and Human Resource Management. As a career human resources professional, Jeff's career spans more than 20 years in a variety of private and public sector and consulting organizations in Canada and abroad.

With extensive experience in recruitment, compensation, employee and labour relations, training and development and organizational development Jeff believes deeply in the strategic importance of effective people management and sees Human Resources' role as enabling employees to execute strategy. Jeff has held management and senior leadership roles in a number of organizations and currently serves as Vice President of Human Resources with a Provincial Crown Corporation.
